There are over 24,000 students on campus in Tianjin University , among whom 15,500 are undergraduate and 8,600 are post-graduate students (for master and doctoral degrees). In addition, there are 1,100 overseas students from all over the world, studying for degrees and language courses on campus.

For Postgraduate Students

The University attaches great importance to teaching, research and social service. Students studying for master and doctoral degrees are taking active parts in scientific research and cooperation projects with industries. The current population of full-time postgraduate students amounts to 8600 on campus. In addition, there are 5000 part-time students studying for further degrees.

Tianjin University is among the first group of universities that have set up a Graduate School and confer master and doctoral degrees in many specialties. The Graduate School is responsible for the academic and administrative issues related to full-time & part-time postgraduate students
