Professor Hu Pansheng

 

Hu Pansheng was born in Chi Ping County, Shandong Province, 1917. During the Anti-Japanese War, he was appointed as the “Commander of the Anti-Japanese Self-Defense Forces in Bo Ping, Shang Dong Province”, Deputy Chief of the Vanguard Column Fifth Battalion of the Eighth Route Army, Battalion Chief of the Hua Shan Job Corps of the 15th Division in Eighth Route Army, Political Commissar of the Far East Brigade in Western Shandong Province, Political Commissar of the 6th and 2th Regiment of the First Subregion/ region of the Hebei, Shandong and Henan Province.
During the period of Liberation War, he served as the Regimental Commander and Political Commissar of the 11th Regiment of the First Subregion/ region of the Hebei, Shandong and Henan Province, Political Commissar of the Second Field Army the 17th Army 115 Regiment of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army.
After the founding of the New China, he successively held a series posts as the Deputy Director of the Central Local Industry Ministry Office, Chairman of the Central Ministry of Light Industry Office, Party Secretary of Yunnan University and Member of the Tianjin Consultative Committee, etc.
He worked as the Party Secretary of Tianjin University during 1981 to 1983.
