Professor Su Zhuang

 

Su Zhuang was born in Man Cheng County, Hebei Province in 1960. He graduated from Beijing Normal University in 1932.
Before the founding of PRC, he successively held the posts as political instructor of Chinese People’s Anti-Japanese Military and Political College, Deputy Director-general of the Education Department and Director-general of the Culture & Education Office in the Northeast Revolutionary Base Area, Head of the Northeast Higher Education Division while holding the concurrent post as Chief of the Northeast Bureau on Education. After the founding of PRC, he assumed the Deputy Director of the Office of Higher Education Ministry, Deputy Head of Industrial Education Department.
He served as the Party Secretary of Tianjin University in 1966 and during 1973 to 1977.
