Key Former Leadership

Professor Yang Yuqin

Professor, Doctoral supervisor
Yang Yuqin was born in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province in 1938. He worked in Tianjin University after his graduation from the Department of Electrical Power of the University in 1959.
He was the instructor of the Motor Teaching and Research Office, Party Branch Secretary, Director of the Teaching and Research Office, Vice Director of Academic Affairs of Tianjin University, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice-president. He was elected as Member of the 6th Tianjin Municipal Committee of the CPC and was Member of the Standing Committee of Tianjin People’s Congress. He was titled the “National Excellent Instructor”.
He served as the Acting Secretary of Tianjin University Party Committee (1991-1992), and the Party Secretary of Tianjin University (1992-2002).
