Students from Georgia Institute of Technology Start New Life in Tianjin University

 

From September 1 to 4, 2020, Tianjin University’s Weijin Road Campus ushered in 16 Chinese senior undergraduates and postgraduates from Georgia Institute of Technology. After completing the epidemic prevention procedures, they will spend a new semester of four months here.

Due to the COVID-19, some Chinese students of Georgia Institute of Technology in the United States are temporarily unable to return to the Atlanta campus in Georgia, the United States to continue their study. Tianjin University provides students with good accommodation conditions, as well as campus network and all-in-one cards, with which students can conveniently use campus facilities such as canteens, library, and gymnasium. At the same time, Tianjin University offers special offline courses for them to optimize the learning experience. While enjoying campus services, on the other hand, they are supposed to abide by the campus management regulations during the epidemic.

 

Georgia Tech Tianjin University Shenzhen Institutewelcomed 102 first-year and current undergraduates from Georgia Institute of Technology. At the Institute, the instructors assist students with relevant procedures as well as their future study and life. The students who have registered said that they were looking forward to studying and living in Tianjin University very much.

Tianjin University and Georgia Institute of Technology maintain a solid foundation for cooperation and exchanges. The cooperative education program for Master of Electronic and Computer Engineering has been held for seven consecutive years.
