Mid-Autumn Festival Activity: Online Booking of Mooncakes Opens

This year, Tianjin University will continue to combine the cultural elements of the campus with the traditional customs of the Mid-Autumn Festival, and many iconic elements of Tianjin University such as the university emblem, motto and the east gate of the double campuses areintegrated into the designs of packaging, handbags and patterns of moon cakes. There are four different moon cake gift boxes for you to choose from.You can buy them in some canteens on both campuses.Online booking now opens.The deadline for online sales is September 6, 2022.

The Mid-Autumn Festival, one of the four Chinese traditional festivals, is approaching soon.The Mid-Autumn Festival falls on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month. It is a time for family members and loved ones to congregate and enjoy the full moon, which is considered to be an auspicious symbol of abundance, harmony and luck.

Chinese traditionally eat the moon cakes on that day. Moon cakes with their tasty flavors and happy meanings bring out the joy of the holiday.
