Fluorescent Biomolecules and their Building Blocks Design and Applications Conference

 

Recently, the third Fluorescent Biomolecules and their Building Blocks Design and Applications Conference (FB3) organized by the School of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology and Collaborative Innovation Center of Chemical Science and Engineering (Tianjin) was held at Tianjin University.

Approximately 150 experts and scholars from all around the world attended the conference and shared their recent research results. Twenty-nine renowned experts made special reports, including those from the University of Zurich, the University of Edinburgh, the University of California (San Diego), the Chalmers University of Technology, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the National University of Singapore, the Tokyo University, the Nagoya University, the Osaka University, the University of Alberta, and the Curie Institute. Special reports were also given including the keynote speech on Fluorescence Sensors built from DNA by Professor Eric Kool from Stanford University, the Design and Application of Fluorescent AlEgens by Academician Tang Benzhong from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Specific Fluorescent Probes of Biomarker Sensors by Academician Tian He from the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

The next FB3 conference will be held in Glasgow, Scotland in 2018.
