Scrumptious Delicacies Updated at Peiyangyuan Campus

A wide range of updating mouthwatering food on Peiyangyuan Campus is about to tickle your taste buds!

Diet foods with fewer calories and lower fat is available in both canteens.

Moreover, Zhuyuan Dining Hall (Dining Hall No.4) dishes up braised meat on rice or noodle with mashed potato and rice with Peking Roast Duck.

Taoyuan Dining Hall (Dining Hall No.5) offers perfect late-night meals including grilled fresh squid, roasted pork knuckle, hot candied sweet potatoes and fried pork in scoop added with orange juice.

Braised pork knuckles on rice with mashed potatoes 

(Mashed potatoes, seasoned with scallions, ginger, garlic, salt and Sichuan peppercorns, are rich in dietary fiber and vitamins)

Braised meat garnished with vegetables, rice mixed with mashed potatoes, you can keep a balanced diet by intake of essential nutrients.

Spicy grilled ribs on rice with mashed potatoes

Appetizing braised ribs, grilled under a very strong heat for 15 minutes, are irresistibly scrumptious and mouthwatering. With a perfect blending of protein, carbohydrates and vitamins, a delectable delicacy is provided.

To meet diverse dietary needs of teachers and students, the serving hatch also dishes up a wide array of noodles, including beef noodles, hot dry noodles, noodles garnished with minced meat, and Biang Biang noodles.

Biang Biang noodles are a Northwestern Chinese specialty, hailing from Shaanxi Province. They are generally wide, thick, and chewy, and most importantly, hand-made, giving them a slightly uneven texture that clings to sauce really well.

It selects such low-calories but high-protein ingredients as shrimp, baked chicken breast, vegetable, corns, grain using varied ways of cooking including blanching steaming, baking and stir-frying, which are rich in vitamins and dietary fiber.

Delicacy: Rice with Peking Roast Duck.

The roast duck is a delightful combination of perfectly crispy skin and tender meat. Sprinkled with a flavorful blend of cumin and chili powder, it offers a satisfying crunch with every bite. Just a reminder, you can feast on it with delicious side dishes and refreshing appetizers.
