On April 13, 2024, Lin Songhua, the chairman of Yingqu Technology Co., Ltd and an alumnus of the Grade 1993, returned to his alma mater Tianjin University to share his insights for entrepreneurship. Two professional forums, one entrepreneurial lecture, one academic salon, and one naming ceremony were held during Lin Songhua's two-day stay at the university.
Three years ago, Alumnus Lin Songhua, together with the Spring Water Charity Foundation, generously donated 313 million yuan to support the development of his alma mater—Tianjin University. Tianjin University names the north library of the Weijin Road Campus the "Spring Water Library." Lin Songhua explained the origin of the name “Chun Shui” in an interview.
The name “Chun Shui (rain in the spring)” originates from the names of his parents. In 2013, he took one character from each of his parents’ names and established the Xiamen Spring Water Charity Foundation. It was the first non-public fundraising foundation in Xiamen. He hopes that kindness can be like the rain in the spring, watering the earth, nourishing seedlings, and influencing others. The name of “Chun Shui Library” is also to pass on this profound love and encourage students to care for and embrace the country and the whole world, and realize the values of their lives.
On April 13, 2023, Tianjin Youxin Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., the first enterprise in the Tiankai Higher Education Innovation Park, was officially registered. This company is a subsidiary of Yingqu Technology.
In addition to that, Lin Songhua brought more plans during this visit. He said, "We pay special attention to the cultivation of outstanding engineering talents, and hope to play a greater role in promoting talent mobility between the university and the enterprise in the future."
