Recently, the People's Daily published a list of student representatives who won the National Scholarship for Undergraduate and Graduate Students for the 2021-2022 academic year.

Xu Miaoyi, Grade 2019 undergraduate of the School of Materials Science and Engineering and Zhuang Zheming, Grade 2021 postgraduate of the School of Mechanical Engineering were on the list.

After strict selection and evaluation, 60,000 outstanding undergraduate and graduate students nationwide have won the National Scholarship, and 45,000 outstanding graduate students have won the National Scholarship. The above 100 undergraduate and 100 graduate students are outstanding representatives among the award-winning students.

Xu Miaoyi has received two national scholarships. Focusing on cutting-edge research on materials, she has made outstanding achievements on research. She has served as ambassador for Tianjin's University funding and education, helping to organize more than 20 funding activities, and served 4,000 students with financially difficult.

Zhuang Zheming has won the first prize in the China Robot and Artificial Intelligence Competition and in the National Emerging Engineering Education Competition. Exploring the frontier fields of advanced mechanism and robotics, he has made outstanding results.
