Tianjin University and COOEC Sign Cooperation Agreement

On October 19, Tianjin Marine Equipment Industry (Talent) Alliance and Offshore Oil Engineering Co., Ltd. (COOEC) Talents Work Conference was successfully held in Binhai New Area. Leaders of Tianjin University and the University’s College of Management and Economics (CoME) attended the event. At the meeting, a talent cultivation cooperation agreement was signed between Tianjin University and COOEC.

It is reported that the leaders and representatives of Binhai New Area District also attended the meeting, as well as leaders and representatives of Nankai University and Tianjin University of Science and Technology, among others. In addition, leaders and representatives from the member enterprises of Tianjin Marine Equipment Industry (Talent) Alliance attended the event, including Sinopec No.4 Construction Co., Ltd., Port Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., Tianjin Bomaike Ocean Engineering Co., Ltd., Tianjin Xinsong Robot Automation Co., Ltd.,etc. The Human Resources Department of CNOOC participated in the meeting online. The leading group members of CNOOC Engineering, heads of affiliated units and headquarters departments participated in the meeting in the main venue and branch venues respectively.

Tianjin Marine Equipment Industry (Talent) Alliance was established in 2020, and is committed to building a talent industry integration development ecosystem based on the government platform. At present, there are 111 members of the Alliance. 5745 agreements have been signed by enterprises in the Alliance, and the number of contracts reached 17.58 billion Yuan. As the vice chairman unit of the Alliance, TJU has held special matchmaking meetings with the Alliance enterprises, which has achieved the implementation of 8 industry university research achievements transformation projects, completed the identification of 10 "exclusive certification" enterprises in the marine equipment industry chain, and played a leading role in the construction of the national marine high-end equipment and facility manufacturing industry pilot zone.
