[Hello, Tianjin] Yang Bo: the city where I experienced many firsts

 Arts and Culture

On my journey from a small town to Tianjin city, the largest port city in Northern China where I am to study in a top-ranked university, I experienced many “firsts" in my life, the first time I took a plane, the first time I saw the unforgettable scenery in my life and the first time I had a bite of real delicacy...

The Haihe River

Tianjin is the only city in China that has a birthday date, one of the nation’s central cities and among the first batch of coastal cities to open up. It has harbored many contemporary "firsts" in China.

I feel honored and excited to spend four years in such a city. In my future journey, I will give all my youthful years to this city I love, where I will continue to work hard and strive for my ideal. I believe that it is where I will have many opportunities to hone myself, broaden my horizons, and increase my interests and passion in life.

The Tientsin Eye ferris wheel

Tianjin is a city with a long history, diverse landscape, rich cultural heritage, unique folk lifestyle and colorful city life. The people here are straightforward, witty and hospitable. This is a place that you will fall in love with once you get in touch with it. This is my second hometown. Although it is my first time here, it makes me feel at home. I will take the responsibility and contribute to Tianjin's urban construction!
