Professor. Nie Lansheng of the School of Architecture died of an illness at the age of 91 at 21:30 on January 18, 2021.

Professor Nie is a famous architect and architectural educator in China. She had been teaching at the School of Architecture of Tianjin University since 1954 and retired in 2003. During her 50-year-long teaching career, she not only made outstanding academic achievements, but also cultivated a large number of excellent talents for the country.

According to the wishes of her family members, Professor Nie’s funeral would be simplified. The farewell ceremony has been held on the morning of January 20, 2021.
