Recently, the Center for Belt and Road National and Regional Study of National Ethnic Affairs Commission of PRC (Humanities and Talent Development Research Center) at Tianjin University was approved.

The Humanities and Talent Development Research Center is composed of the Research Center of Socialist Modernization, the Research Center of Science Technology and Society, the Research Center of International Education, the Research Center of Career Development, the Research Institute of Chinese Traditional Culture and Humanities Education, and Peiyang Silk Road Culture Research Institute. The Research Center integrates scientific talents from the School of Marxism and the School of International Education at Tianjin University, and recruits other part-time researchers both inside and outside the university.

The Research Center will give full play to the advantages of disciplines and platforms, actively carry out academic exchanges and cooperation, focus on promoting the commercialization of research results, and provides solid academic support for economic development, educational cooperation, cultural exchanges, and talent training.
