On August 24, the dormitory A project of the TJU-NUS Joint Institute in Fuzhou (first phase) was sealed its roof atop the concrete and steel frame, which marks a milestone for this project.

Located in Guhuai Town, Changle District, Fuzhou City, the TJU-NUS Joint Institute in Fuzhou (first phase) covers an area of about 182 mu with a total floor area of about 140,000 square meters, including buildings of classrooms, laboratories, dormitories, stadiums and part of the public living area.

By the end of August 2020, the dormitory A has been fully sealed, the basement of dormitory B has been completed, and the pile foundation of the buildings of classrooms and laboratories are in progress.

The dormitory A will provide students with a complex and convenient space, where they can live, study and relax.

Currently, the first phase of the TJU-NUS Joint Institute in Fuzhou is being stepped up in an orderly manner. According to the plan, this project is expected to be completed in May 2022 and officially put into use in September 2022 and welcome first-year students then.
