Approved by Shenzhen government, Tianjin University Shenzhen Alumni Association will hold "Shenzhen Bay Chunsun Light Show" to celebrate the 125th anniversary of Tianjin University.

On August 22, the dress rehearsal of the light show kicked off.

Under the light show of "Tianjin University 125th Anniversary" on Shenzhen Bay Chunsun Building, Zhang Huanong, president of Tianjin University’s Shenzhen Alumni Association, led all the participants to sing the Chinese national anthem and Tianjin University anthem and cheered "Happy Birthday to Tianjin University!" At the same time, a fluorescent board typed "Happy Birthday" was raised. After President Zhang hammered on the drum, all the drums were beating with passionate Samba dance and the subtitles of "Tianjin University 125th Anniversary" rose on the Chunsun Building, shining brightly on the banks of Shenzhen Bay. At this moment, amid the light and heavy traffic on the street, visitors in the Talent Park watched and applauded the performance.

At the end of the event, President Zhang Huanong said: "I hope that the rumbling drums will ring through Shenzhen and China, inspiring all Tianjin University people to celebrate its birthday and continue to shoulder the mission of building a prosperous China through learning!"
