On June 4, at the invitation of Chaoxing Group, the Graduate School of Tianjin University together with Chaoxing Group held an online meeting to share online teaching management and operation experience during the COVID-19 epidemic period and discuss a new online teaching mode of the graduate course in the future.

Representatives of the graduate schools of the universities in North China attended the event.

At the meeting, Jia Hongjie, deputy dean of Graduate School of Tianjin University, Liu Qiang, deputy general manager of Chaoxing Group, teacher representatives from the School of Foreign languages and literature and the School of Mathematics of Tianjin University, and Xiao Peng, deputy dean of Graduate School of Central University of Finance and Economics respectively made reports.

In the report, Deputy Dean Jia Hongjie stressed that conducting online teaching is not only a response to the epidemic, but also a favorable opportunity to reform the teaching mode. With this opportunity, we could explore an interactive MOOC group teaching mode led by teachers and centered on students.

During the period of epidemic prevention and control, the teaching of Postgraduates at Tianjin University was orderly deployed and steadily promoted, and the teaching of postgraduate courses run smoothly. Tianjin University has been invited to make four reports on the national online platforms to share the experience of postgraduate teaching during the epidemic.

In order to further summarize the online teaching experience of postgraduate courses, promote the innovation of postgraduate course teaching mode and the improvement of teaching effect, Tianjin University has recently launched the selection of excellent postgraduate online courses, and share them to domestic excellent teaching platforms.
