Attitude, pursuit, and action are the keywords that define the youth of the new generation strivers. Zhang Chunsong, an entrepreneur born in the 1990s is one of these strivers. He has the cool profession of robotics research and development.

Zhang obtained a master’s degree and a doctor’s degree while starting a business.

Zhang’s team has independently developed the ‘Metamorphic Robot’, commonly known as ‘deformable bionic robot’. With its rich functionalities and deformability, it will prove its skills in the fields of rescue, exploration, and education in the future.

In 2016, Zhang started a business with his schoolmates under the inspiration of ‘Widespread Entrepreneurship and Innovation’. Simultaneously, he began a life of pursuing both entrepreneurship and academics.

Faced with the dual pressure from business and study, as well as the lack of knowledge of the market and customers in the early days of the entrepreneurship, Zhang’s team lost core team members and encountered the setbacks that followed.

Yet, they never yielded to the difficulties. They mastered the core technology systems of robot motion intelligence and the related core products.

The company is gradually on track, and received over 600,000-yuan worth of orders during the COVID-19 epidemic.

In 2019, Zhang Chunsong completed his doctorate. Additionally, the company began to enjoy a series of preferential policies such as free rent for offices and tax relief. With the help of the society, the company is gradually on track.

During the epidemic, they received orders over 600,000 yuan and accumulated new customers. Zhang said: "I believe that by the end of this year, our orders will grow exponentially!"

As a college student entrepreneurial team, Zhang and his partners encountered setbacks but never gave up.
