School of Environmental Science and Engineering Holds Teaching Competition

On November 20th, the School of Environmental Science and Engineering held a teaching competition among its faculty.

The competition contained two parts: the course syllabus planning, and 20-minute classroom teaching exhibits. The school administrators, teaching experts were invited to be the judges. They commented on contestants’ performanc and gave suggestions according to the shortcomings of each teacher.

Liu Qingling, Associate Dean of the School said, “Through this competition, we intend to improve the faculty’s teaching method and skills. In the information era, how to nail students’ attention to teachers’ tutoring in class is something every teacher should think about. We should be more open and innovative.”

Yan Beibei, Tong Yindong, Yang Yongkui, Liu Jia, Sheng Ying and Shen Xiong, won the third prize. Zhao Yingxin, Cheng Zhanjun, Ding Yan and Shi Jiafu, won the second prize. Qiao Zhi and Lin Fawei, won the first prize. Song Chunfeng won the first prize.
