On October 18th, Mr. Ben Ramster fromInstitution of Civil Engineer (ICE) Press was invited to the Earthquake Engineering Comprehensive Simulation Innovation and Intelligence Base Zhihui Forum and delivered a report on “Writing and Publishing scientific Papers in Institution of Civil Engineer”.
Mr. Ben Ramster gave a general introduction to ICE, and further clarified the characteristics of the journal in the field of Civil Engineering. He explained the key points on paper writing and common reasons for rejection. Ramster also provided some instructive suggestions at the end of the lecture.
The lecture was hosted by Prof. Jiang Mingjing from the School of Civil Engineering, Tianjin University. More than 30 teachers and graduate students attended the lecture.
