The comprehensive learning platform, which is a combination of learning and communication, created by the team of the School of Distance and Continuing Education of Tianjin University, provides Tianjin citizens with an open hall where everyone can learn everywhere, and learn from time to time.

The citizens of Tianjin can download the “Learning Pass” app on the mobile phone or tablet, and enter the invitation code “tjzhixue” to log in to the “Tianjin Wisdom Learning Platform”. After logging in with this method, the reporter saw that the learning content on the platform is divided into five sections: Thriving Tianjin, Democratic Tianjin, Civilized Tianjin, Harmony Tianjin and Beautiful Tianjin. The courses include artificial intelligence, ecological civilization, Chinese economy, traditional culture, psychology, art and other aspects. "At present, our courses are still being compiled and uploaded. By the end of this year, there will be 300 online courses of famous teachers including many universities across the country, as well as more than 2 million e-books and 160,000 academic videos. We will build a 'Peiyang University Hall' for the citizens of Tianjin without the wall.” Yin Hongchun, Dean of the School of Distance and Continuing Education at Tianjin University, said.

At the same time, this reporter learned that citizens can also have their own "learning space" on the platform. In the area, students can learn courses, read books, periodicals and magazines, and realize various interactions and instant discussions. Each student can customize personalized learning resources according to their own needs.

“The process data of the citizens through the platform will be retained throughout the process, and the platform will create a 'personal portrait' for each learner through statistical analysis to form an evaluation of learners' learning ability. We will also intelligently push different teaching resources for different learners, so as to meet the personalized learning needs of different learners, and realize the functions of intelligent question answering, intelligent marking and so on", said Yin Hongchun.
