More than 120 people from over 30 institutions, including Yangtze River Institute of education, China Educational Technology Association, Chinese Society of Educational Development Strategy, Tianjin Municipal Education Commission, Tianjin Academy of Education and Sciences, and Tianjin University, attended the conference. The theme of this meeting is "development strategy of Xiong'an New Area: accelerate the construction of Xiong'an New Area's education reform and opening up. "

In response to the needs of the times, building a think tank alliance to promote the integration of education in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei has become the consensus of experts in the field of education. Experts discussed the opportunities and challenges Xiong'an New Area's education reform and opening up demonstration area faced.

Zhou Hongyu, vice president of the Chinese Educational Society and President of the Yangtze River Institute of education, pointed out in his report that the think-tank construction is an important support for the scientific, democratic and legal decision-making of the party and the government of China, and an educational think- tank is a vital part of the construction of new think-tanks with Chinese characteristics. “We should promptly establish the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Education think tank alliance, promote the integrated education development of the three areas, in other words, we should establish ‘Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Education Innovation belt,’” said Zhou.

Li Jianping, vice president of Tianjin Academy of Educational Sciences, thought that dramatic changes have taken place in the structure and form of modern education, and new education styles and new technologies are constantly emerging, which has brought a great impact on modern education. According to Li, "Fair and quality education” has become the focus of education policy.

Zhang Shaogang, from the China Educational Technology Association, pointed out that in the era of "Internet +", it is of great practical significance to construct the educational mode of balanced development of urban and rural cultures. Xu Li, a professor at Hebei Normal University, believed that education was the priority in the development of Xiong’an which is faced with multiple historical opportunities. Researchers should shoulder the duty to take the lead in educational reform and innovation and create a new education pattern to achieve China's educational modernization in 2035.
