On July 12, Tianjin University and the Shanghai Zhenhua Port Machinery Company Limited signed a strategic cooperation agreement at the Tianjin University Weijin Road Campus. The two parties will commence cooperation following the national development policy of new strategic industries, driven by which, the two parties will foster strategic cooperation in research and development, achievement commercialization and talent cultivation.

Tianjin University Vice President Yuan Yingjing and Zhenhua Port Machinery Vice President Liu Qizhong signed the strategic cooperation agreement. With the principle of complementing each other’s advantages, gaining mutual benefits and creating a win-win relationship, both parties will make further advances in the research and development of marine exploration equipment, marine environment and marine ecological restoration, research and development of environmental protection materials, smart cities, intelligent logistics, and the cultivation of the talents.
