On June 10th, the China Automotive Technology and Research Center Co., Ltd. (CATARC) and Tianjin University signed a strategic agreement. The two sides will carry out in-depth cooperation on Intelligent Manufacturing, the Construction of School-Enterprise Training Bases and high-level faculty training. TJU Party Secretary Li Jiajun, CATARC Party Secretary, Chairman and General Manager Yu Kai delivered speeches. Vice President Yuan Yingjin, leaders from the university’s relevant administrative departments also attended the meeting.

Li Jiajun introduced the history, the status quo of discipline construction and the achievements in intelligent manufacturing of Tianjin University. Tianjin University continuously optimizes its discipline layout, promotes cross-discipline integration while aiming at the national needs of talents training.

Yu Kai elaborated on how CATARC has been carrying out its mission of promoting the healthy and sustainable development of the automotive industry in China. After the meeting, Tianjin University delegation visited the CATARC Sand Table Model, Collision Test Center, Data Intelligence Network Center, Electromagnetic Compatibility Laboratory, Elevation Environmental Laboratory, and the Performance Testing Laboratory.
