Actuarial Science of Tianjin University Ranks No. 37 in UNL Global Research

Research

The Actuarial Science discipline of Tianjin University ranked No. 37 in the world Non-Business School Actuarial Science Rankings, and No. 9 in domestic assessed by the University of Nebraska at Lincoln (UNL) Global Research Rankings of Actuarial Science and Risk Management & Insurance.

The UNL Actuarial Science Program in the Department of Finance in the College of Business has set up a database to track all papers published since 1990 in the leading risk and insurance journal and in four leading actuarial journals. Rankings are provided for the top 20 North American and the top 50 worldwide business and non-business schools respectively according to the cumulative number of their respective faculty members’ publications in these journals. These rankings are given for degree-awarding schools. We are grateful for the funding support for this rankings database from American Life Insurance Corp (quoted in part from the UNL official website).
